Sewing: Spring Tea Towels.

I decided to play around and make a couple of tea towels that might brighten up the kitchen.

First, I hemmed and embroidered on the towel.

Then, I sewed a little ribbon to make a stem for the flower.

Added some cute ribbon on the edge.

Still not enough, I decided to add some rick rack and a pom-pom flower.

Spring has Sprung!!!

Look how cute!!!

I gave some to my Peeps!!!

See, smiling.

Mary, you need to be smiling!!! You just got a tea towel.

Tomorrow, I am planning a give-away and some of these cute tea towels may be included. Get excited.

  1. Cute!

Cynthia I thought about you yesterday. Your list of things to do that you post daily...and then you really do accomplish so much! I am a busy body too but I spend a lot of time pondering too. Need to make more lists!

  2. So cute! Those would brighten any kitchen, for sure. I am tempted to start quilting again. Now, to get this photog class out of the way so I can concentrate!

  3. Oh my word! Love those! Funny, I just bought Molly a little shirt that had a pom-pom flower just like that on it.

You are amazing! I'm getting excited. And yes, we need to get Mary excited! :)

  4. I SO need you living closer to me. I would hire you in a minute to teach my girlies and I how to sew (you know with that sewing machine I gave my daughter 2 years ago for Christmas and it's still in the box). I have gotten most of the domestic things down, but not the sewing. :) Now, I'll just live through your sewing class post.
    Those are adorable!!
