Cooking: A gift for a friend

Our daughter's friend has recently purchased a condo. She and her parents have been working on it every evening. My daughter has also lent a hand painting. She is an expert in painting.

Anyway, I thought they might need a home cooked meal.

So I packed a salad with plenty of garden tomatoes.

My Sausage Penne Pasta

Some plates and silverware.

I hope this meal helps them a lift.

Do you know someone who is down and could use a lift.... you have no idea how much a home cooked meal could mean to someone.

  2. Good morning Cynthia. I bet your friends were elated to receive this gift. I have a friend who just had a baby earlier in the summer...she could use the same gift. Thanks for the prompting.

  4. Here's what I love about you...you not only share your talent for putting things (food, parties, home decor) together and making it all look fabulous -- you share your giant HEART!

Thank you for inspiring us to do good in even the little things -- which sometimes aren't really the little things.

    Hugs!

  8. How nice! I bet they were thrilled with the meal and had lots of energy to keep painting :)
Thanks so much for leaving me the link to the Turkey Meatloaf recipe. I am going to give it a try.

  10. Hi Cynthia,
Yummy! The chairs look great. We had a similar old wicker rocker when I was a child. My mom painted it avocado green in the 70's haha! Your garage is awesome. I am jealous at how clean and neat it is! Cute doggies too!
    Blessings,
    Lorilee
