This year for my gift baskets I decided to make Sugar Pecans. I have tasted these heavenly treats before but never attempted to make them.
Beat the egg white and water until frothy but not stiff.
Add salt, cinnamon, sugar and fold gently into the egg mixture.
Add pecans and thoroughly coat.
Place on baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Allow to cool and store in a tight container.
The pecans are divine!!! You will enjoy them as a treat and they are super easy to make.
- 1 egg white
- 1 T water
- 3/4 t salt
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 c sugar
- 1 lb. pecans
Bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes until dry.
