During the winter, I try very hard to infuse summer flavor in every dish. Roasting asparagus is an easy dish that pumps up the flavor.
Clean and cut the asparagus to remove the woody part.
Put on baking dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper and olive oil.
Roast at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with lemons and you will have an easy and fantastic side dish.

ReplyDeleteYummy! I want to start growing asparagus. I read that it takes several years from planting to harvest. My mom grew it. I enjoyed harvesting it.

ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, asparagus is my most FAV veggie. I love it roasted also. Wish I could grow it, Lowes has tons of asparagus starts. Do you grow it in your awesome veggie garden?
ReplyDeleteAsparagus is my all-time favorite food and I love it roasted with olive oil, garlic, and salt. March is the prime season for harvesting asparagus. Heaven in a stick!!!
